General registration procedures

The rules for registering students in accredited programmes are provided in the AMU Attendance and Examination Regulations.

General registration procedures for programmes at AMU

If a student obtains a letter of admission to a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD programme at AMU from the Dean or Rector, he or she is registered for studies per the relevant provisions of the AMU Attendance and Examination Regulations, and obtains access to the AMU information system and other applications.

Students arriving for study stays obtain an information packet prior to arrival containing basic information on studying and living in Prague. Before they arrive, they are enrolled in studies and registered in the AMU information system based on the information provided in the application for studies. Upon arrival, students will participate in a festive opening ceremony, an informational week or informational meetings, or a group excursion, depending on the faculty, where they will receive information on studies, access to the computer network and library, and an ISIC card just like students in accredited fields.
