Faculty library at DAMU
The library at DAMU is part of the AMU library, and mainly serves the teachers and students of the theatre faculty. Its material is focused on professional theatre literature and literature from related fields. It holds about 40 000 books and student theses, and a professional video library is also currently being built. In addition to regular library services, the library offers photocopying services, DAMU students can watch their own study-related video cassettes and work on computers.
Faculty library at FAMU
The library at FAMU the AMU library, and mainly serves the students, teachers and employees at AMU, as well as other users to a limited extent. The library contains 14 945 books and periodicals (history and theory of film, photography, fine art, and selected literary works). Students can also use computer facilities with Internet connection and two video recorder for individual film screenings The library provides research, consultation, and copying services.
Faculty library at HAMU
The library at HAMU, part of the AMU library, is located on the ground floor of Lichtenstein Palace. It mainly serves the students and teachers of all of the faculties at AMU, or other interested parties outside the university under certain regulations. The library’s resources, which have been partly converted to electronic form, include 10 730 books and periodicals, 63 801 scores, 17 050 records, 1872 CDs and 30 videocassettes. The library also has available reading-rooms, recording equipment, two audio-visual studios, and a computer centre that enables users to look through catalogues as well as work independently on PCs and use the Internet.
