Akademie múzických umění v Praze zve na mezinárodní konferenci Umění a věda: Myslet mimo mantinely, která se uskuteční 18.–20. listopadu 2025 u příležitosti 80. výročí vzniku AMU. Konference se zaměří na vzájemné rezonance, pnutí a průniky mezi uměním, přírodními a technickými vědami i společenskými a humanitními disciplínami. Společné setkání umělců, vědců a badatelů umožní nejen srovnání metod a přístupů, ale především otevřít otázku, co znamená myslet – tvořivě, kriticky a důsledně – napříč hranicemi a mimo oborové mantinely. S keynote přednáškami vystoupí Thomas Ostermeier, Jussi Parikka a Mayumi Kuno-Mizomura. Konference bude probíhat v anglickém jazyce. Závěrečným vyvrcholením se stane udělení čestného doktorátu AMU Thomasu Ostermeierovi dne 20. listopadu 2025.
