We would like to inform you that Czech consulates in countries with extreme risk of infection are closed to all visa applications.
The list of closed consulates and the reasons for their inclusion are set out in the protective measure of the Ministry of Health. The acceptance of applications for long-stay visas and stays and the suspension of procedures already in progress are suspended in accordance with point II/3 of the protective measure of the Ministry of Health.
Countries with an extreme risk of infection are currently the following: Botswana, Brazil, India, South Africa, Colombia, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Paraguay, Peru, Russia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
Closed consulates:
Brazil: Brasília, Sao Paulo
India: New Delhi
South Africa: Pretoria
Colombia: Bogota
Peru: Lima
Russia: Moscow, Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg
Tunisia: Tunis
Zambia: Lusaka
The above listed consulates are closed for visa services and there is a ban on arrival from the following countries with the exception of: (1) holders of permanent and long-term residence permits, (2) family members of EU citizens (--spouses, --parents of minor children who are EU citizens under the age of 21, --minor children under the age of 21, --predecessors or lineal descendants who are EU citizens and their spouses if they were dependent on the EU citizen immediately prior to arrival in the Czech Republic), (3) EU citizens who hold a temporary residence permit, (4) persons entering in the interest of foreign policy and public health, (5) personnel of diplomatic missions and international organizations in the Czech Republic, (6) professional athletes and members of national sports teams entering in the interest of the Czech Republic - must be stated by the National Sports Agency.
