The definition of picnic according to Wikipedia: A picnic is a meal taken outdoors (al fresco) as part of an excursion, especially in scenic surroundings, such as a park, lakeside, or other place affording an interesting view, or else in conjunction with a public event such as preceding an open-air theatre performance, and usually in summer or spring. It is different from other meals because it requires free time to leave home.

For us, however, a picnic is primarily a teambuilding and bonding event – simply put, a community undertaking. Hence, we would like to ask you for this: If you want, bring your own favourite tasty snack and share it with others. Of course, we will prepare and bring something too. You can make a label for your treat at the venue – primarily as a means of warning to anyone suffering from allergies, and also to indicate whether it is vegetarian or vegan and who made it, if you wish 🙂.
