This year’s annual extended meeting of the Collegium of the Rector of AMU held on 23 September 2024 included two occasions to celebrate in addition to the common agenda.
The first of those occasions was the bestowal of the Professor Emeritus of AMU degree on Professor Jan Bernard, a long-time teacher and Dean Emeritus of FAMU.
The other, equally solemn occasion was saying thank you to Petr Pachl, a teacher of AMU’s Sports, Rehabilitation and Movement Centre who is retiring from AMU after an unbelievable sixty years of service, having first joined AMU in 1964.
