The Czech-Danish co-production Mr. Nobody vs. Putin wins the Oscar for Best Documentary. One of the film’s producers is Radovan Síbrt, a graduate of the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU. The music was composed by Michal Rataj, a graduate and faculty member of HAMU.
The documentary follows the impact of war propaganda on a Russian primary school during the war in Ukraine. Earlier this year, it also won the BAFTA for Best Documentary Feature. Its world premiere took place at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received the Special Jury Prize.
Radovan Síbrt is a film producer and founder of the production company PINK, responsible for numerous acclaimed documentaries and television projects. He has long focused on author-driven documentaries, and in addition to his own work, he engages in commercial and charitable projects.
