INTERNAL GRANT COMPETITIONS AT AMU

Each year, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports provides the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague with institutional support for Long-Term Conceptual Development of the Research Organisation (DKR), as well as targeted support for Specific Higher Education Research (SVV). The amount of this support is always based on the number of scientific results achieved in the previous period, which are evaluated annually by the Research, Development and Innovation Council (RVVaI). The allocated funds are distributed to AMU transparently in the form of competitions where submitted projects are evaluated by grant committees.

Institutional support for long-term conceptual development of the scientific organisation is distributed in the Project Competition. The projects here are evaluated by independent evaluators and the AMU grant committee, which is appointed by the Rector of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. The rules of the Project Competition are governed by Decree of the Rector No. 6/2015.

Targeted support for specific higher education research is distributed in the Student Grant Competition, where projects are evaluated by the grant committees of individual faculties, which are appointed by the respective Deans of each faculty. The rules of the Student Grant Competition are governed by Decree of the Rector No. 9/2016.

Further information about grant competitions are available only in Czech.
